Hannah and AJ met through Hannah’s best friend (and roommate at the time) Sophie. During the pandemic, Sophie would invite AJ to video-chat calls whether it was for facetime parties and playing games with their friends, or just a normal weekend chat, and would always say “hey here are my roommates!”. The first time Hannah met AJ in person was at Sophie’s birthday party in August 2020. They spent most of the night next to each other, and AJ asked Hannah out on a date the very next day. They went for a hike on Boston Rock where AJ serenaded Hannah (a second time) by playing his acoustic guitar while they overlooked the beautiful Boston skyline. Two weeks into dating, Hannah agreed to accompany AJ on a 16-hour drive to his cousin’s wedding in Virginia (picture above)! At a Halloween party later that year, they exchanged the words “I love you” in the crisp Fall night, under a blanket, watching the movie.. Halloween! Since then, they’ve been each other’s wedding date and dance partner while continuing to learn about, and fall more in love, with each other.
